We didn't use the software during testing, opting to use the PSU default settings instead and throughout the PSU was exceptionally quiet, probably one of the quietest we've ever heard - even up to 100 percent load. The surface didn't even feel that hot to touch either, although the expelled air was warm.

As shown below, the results are green, green, green, green, green! There's no a single out of spec rail in the whole thing and it's consistently 81-82 percent efficiency and high 90's PFC. So, it's the perfect PSU?

Yes and... no - the rails could only be loaded separately before they hit their limits, so you can't actually use everything together at their rated current limits, which is why we had to load them separately. In comparison; single railed PSUs like the PC Power and Cooling 750W we previously reviewed and recommended allowed you to use the whole power, no matter what you combination of cables you use.

Fortunately, the likelihood is that most PCs will sit between the 50-75 percent power range when using an 800W unit anyway so things should be balanced out and at least the results show all the rails do work even if you load just a pair of them.
